There always seems to be something happening on a Saturday and normally I'm flying solo in the parenting duties with hubby at work. But Sundays? Lately they are slow, filled with family and moments that make my heart soar. A part of me would like to say they're spontaneous, but truth is we're intentionally creating our Sundays this way. This morning he ran laps around the oval, the girls chased and I watched on while playing with my camera. Everybody was happy.
xx
How do your weekends go? Do you have an intentionally slow, family-filled time scheduled in?
Beautiful photos. Sounds like a lovely Sunday morning. We take each weekend as it comes, but there is always family time. This morning I walked around the golf course while my 13 year old played 18 holes of golf with friends. Tiring but fun. xxoo
ReplyDeleteI love your photos. Weekends are our family time and I love it.
ReplyDeleteLovely! We usually leave Sunday as a slow, intentional family day...they often include a slow morning, time in the woods and sometimes, like today, an early dinner with friends or family. I look forward to Sunday all week :)
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you are making the most of Sundays :)
Your weekends sound much the same as ours. As much as we would like the two days to be just the four of us, our reality is Sundays. And don't we make the most of them!?!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely way to spend a Sunday :) We like to have Sundays to ourselves. Yesterday we had a spontaneous afternoon spent at the Museum seeing the Dinosaurs which we all enjoyed :) x
ReplyDeleteWhat glorious pictures! Our weekends used to be so much slower than they are now. My girls are older and play sports... I am actually working to find a way to bring some control back to our schedule. I miss our slow weekend days!
ReplyDeleteI love those beautiful pictures! Your Sunday sounds so lovely, we often have slow Sundays too. I have tried to make a point of having at least half a day each weekend where I do what I feel I'd like to or need to, and not be watching the clock which makes such a difference to my well being, and our family harmony.
