Sisters

From the hallway I heard laughter. And from the doorway I spotted two little girls - one in her cot, one peeking over the rails {both with big smiles and bigger giggles}.

I was so far from my girls' minds {their big eyes sparkling with love, joy and laughter}.

They were so rapt up in each other {and I was rapt up in them}.

I looked on {in love} as they held hands and yapped away in baby babble {but oh it sounded important}.

And the giggling! They non-stop giggled at each other {their faces bursting with precious smiles}.

I smiled just witnessing them, listening to their laughter {and I tried my very best to soak this moment in}.

They were captivated by one another {and didn't even notice when I entered the room}.

And it was then that I realised I {we} gave our girls the best gift we could ever give them in each other {sisters}.

Elisa xx

{I'll be forever grateful for sisters. For my beautiful sisters, who amaze me with their love, support and achievements, and make me laugh all the time. And for my little girls who smile, giggle and love each other abundantly xx}

{This was my favourite moment of the week. Just thinking about it makes me smile.}

  4. So gorgeous...
    I grew up an only child and always wanted a sister.
    Now that I have three little boys, I just love seeing them together. They truly love each other and I just knowing that they have each other.

    I replied to your comment about the 'my memories suite' on my blog but not sure if you will get it or not! I have a link to their website with a discount code on my blog (top of my sidebar). I really love the software & you can do so much with it!

  12. Ah that's lovely! I always wanted a baby sister for my big girl. But was not to be. Hope my son and daughter can have the same closeness I have with my sister.
