Thoughts on Motherhood

I have changed and grown so much as a person since becoming a mother. Just as much as my girls have grown I'd say.

At times I've been challenged by the enormity of change and learning motherhood has presented, and other times I feel I've grown effortlessly and wondrously.

Inspired by motherhood, I'm inching closer and closer into the me I want to be.

Josie asked me to write for her Mothers on Motherhood series this month. And it encouraged me to reflect further on my motherhood journey, to look back at how far we've come and give thanks for the abundance of love we've created.

You can read my post on motherhood {as I experience it} here.

xx

To the mothers: Do you stop to look back and reflect on your mothering journey? x

  1. I cant even remember who I was before motherhood. It is all a blur. Every now and then my old self (basically a less tired me) pops up but I have evolved so much over the past three years and I am grateful for every second of it.

  3. It's quite a journey isn't it? It twist & turns & even further down the track there's still lot's of joy to be had (mine are 18, 16 & 13).

  4. It really is a journey. I found it such a life changing, identity changing event. Such a turmoil, although now I've settled in to it I love it and can't imagine life being any different (or life before it for that matter!). :)
